“The last 10 years I has been immersed in graduate studies, research, teaching and coaching in the areas of transformational leadership, theology, strategic thinking and finding one’s voice.
Specifically, I have leaned into perplexing questions about the intersectionality of culture and community, how to engage crucial conversations and accountability both personally and professionally and deconstructing faith, gender and sexual identity. Each of these interests have brought me into meaningful conversations that have informed the diverse work I am involved with and the organizations and people I choose to journey alongside.
In the fall of 2019, I accepted the opportunity to go to Chennai, SE India and launch a new learning initiative in partnership between Trinity Western University and Stella Maris College, the FARR Centre, Facilitated Academic Research and Resource Centre, bringing the transformational servant leadership lens into how we think about problem-solving in a complex, globalized world. I am still processing all the ways those 101 days are continuing to shape me.
I am not tied to one single version of myself and I choose to live a juicy, Venti life...teaching, writing, speaking, strategizing, researching, mischief making (Enneagram 8) and creating movement for people and ideas to flourish.”
“I grew up on the West Coast of BC and have never owned a pair of Birkenstocks.
